Recognising Signs of Domestic Abuse and Coercive Behaviour in Our Colleagues

person on computer

Unfortunately, due to connectivity issues our original session of this that took place on Friday the 16th had to be cut short. We have therefore rearranged the session for Friday the 20th of January, 12-1pm.

Teri Cudby, the Domestic Abuse Coordinator at Suffolk County Council, will be delivering the session and has provided the below text:

Would you like to know more about coercive control? For victim-survivors work is often where they feel safest and most like themselves.

It is important that we work to ensure work is a safe space for victim-survivors to disclose and to feel supported.

Come along to the awareness raising session to find out:

  • What Coercive Controlling Behaviour (CCB) is & what are the signs?
  • What could you say to someone who discloses to you?
  • Where could you signpost them?

You can access the session link here.
