Congratulations to all those on our latest ECA – EMT course in Hertfordshire, who have all passed with flying colours!

The course, in North & East Herts, follows the dozens of new student and graduate paramedics that have joined the Hertfordshire ranks in recent weeks – with a plan to recruit another 40 over the coming months.

North-East Hertfordshire’s Senior Locality Manager, Darren Meads, said: “I am delighted for the students. Because of the unique staffing situation in Hertfordshire, our course had to be run differently requiring additional flexibility from the students, tutors and guest speakers.

“By working together and supporting each other, they were able to successfully attend lecture days and undertake their key roles and I am very proud of them all. I would especially like to thank James, Vanessa and Brenda for their efforts towards helping the students.”

He added: “Considering where we were earlier on in the year in terms of needing to boost our recruitment in this area, it’s a fantastic turnaround to see these new people join our service.”
