The National Performance Advisory Group (NPAG) are part of EEAST and manage Best Value Groups, training workshops, and organise around 100 events and conferences per year for those in the NHS and public sector. NPAG currently support 50% of NHS Trusts across the United Kingdom and boast around 700 members who benefit from the best practice learning, knowledge sharing and networking on offer.
On 12th September, NPAG hosted their 14th annual Clinical Engineering Conference at the Wolverhampton Racecourse. The event saw over 65 delegates, 10 speakers and 27 exhibitors attend, attendees from Sweden and with one speaker flying over from America specifically for the event!
Speakers presented on an array of topics in the conference hall, and there were frequent breaks for delegates to engage with exhibitors throughout the day. Exhibitors brought along new products, freebies, and their friendly faces to provide delegates with information about their services. These included industry-leading organisations such as Spacelabs, Lyngsoe Systems Healthcare, SoftPro Medical Solutions, Walters Medical Ltd and many more!
Delegate feedback was extremely positive, with one delegate from Rigel Medical saying, “I really enjoyed the conference, and found the presentations most informative. Well done to you and your team for all the hard work, keep it up!”
Similarly, feedback from exhibitors was outstanding, with many stating they would like to exhibit at future NPAG events. Spacelabs said, “We enjoyed the event, thought it was very productive and busy, and resulted in generating some strong leads.”
