A new East24 is coming late this summer!

We’re pleased to announce that we are combining and replacing the current East24 and NeedtoKnow platforms with a brand new SharePoint based intranet which will be launched late Summer / Autumn time.

Having undergone a comprehensive review of the existing sites and working with a group of staff we have designed and tested a new site structure that will make navigating the site and finding content much easier.

We are sure you’ll be pleased to know that the new site will include an intuitive search, which will be a huge improvement on the search functions within our existing sites.

Using a SharePoint based site will also allow us to bring back commenting on articles and include more new and engaging functions to allow you to interact with the content and each other on the new intranet.

We will bring you more updates soon, including details of when we will switch over and what the new navigation and site will look like. In the meantime, if you have any suggestions or must-haves for the new intranet, please get in touch at internalcommunications@eastamb.nhs.uk.
