An exciting opportunity with the new Volunteer to Career project!

The Community First Responder Training team have won an exciting tender called Volunteer to Career. This is a project that will see a small cohort of volunteers selected to undertake their initial training program to be a CFR and go on to complete training that will help get them a career here in EEAST!

Part of the program includes learning about being a call handler, emergency support worker or patient transport service/ nonclinical driver. We will be looking for some volunteer staff in the Essex and Norfolk areas to nominate themselves to show these volunteers the ropes and these roles – more on this later!

As part of the project and winning the funding from Healthcare Education England a survey needs to be completed that collects your thoughts as staff.

There is a separate survey for volunteers. This has been designed by Helpforce to establish your perceptions around volunteering (Staff expectations survey) and to listen to your views on the organisation (Staff sub survey link).

They are separate surveys so please do complete both. They should take no more than 5 minutes.

More information about the project can also be found on helpforce's website.

Thank you for your time and support in advance,

Vikki Darby Senior Commercial Officer - CFR Training
