AOC access

Following recent terror related incidents, the UK’s Terror Threat Level was increased to Severe. To improve security at our AOC sites and ensure the safety of our staff, we have deactivated all generic pin codes which allow access to the control centres and revised the access levels for all staff to restrict who can enter these areas of the buildings.

However, this has uncovered another problem, a considerable number of colleagues have not yet submitted applications for security access cards.  Our administration team are processing these requests as they come through and are able to issue individual, time-limited, pin codes where necessary.

Please support us in making sure that all card applications forms that are sent to estatesaccess@eastamb.nhs.uk are fully completed and authorised by the line manager with a recent photo attached.  This will save time going back and forth with queries.
