Business Continuity Incident level 3 update

We would like to thank all staff on duty over the weekend for their support and tenacity in managing the service during the Airwave Business Continuity Incident (BCI). The Trust continue to be in level 3 BCI, due to Airwaves masts in Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex being down.

Our priorities are to maintain direct contact with staff, ensure communications are passed in a timely manner and that patient care is not compromised. Please raise any concerns regarding staff, patient and service harm through the normal channels to line managers and via Datix, informing your local EOC for oversight and action.

Airwaves are working with other providers to establish a solution to this issue and are updating us hourly on the progress. However, this may take some time to resolve, so would like to thank you all for your ongoing support.
