Celebrating 75 Years of the NHS

NHS Big Tea 2023

July 5th was the 75th birthday of NHS and celebrations took across EEAST.

Colchester Ambulance Station

To celebrate 75 years of the NHS, Colchester Station had a Big Tea event organised by Sheena Bumphrey. There was an amazing spread with lots of people in attendance. The lovely celebration helped raise money for the East of England Ambulance Charity.

It was a great opportunity for staff parents to bring their children in to meet each other, especially those currently on maternity and paternity leave.

 Cromer Ambulance Station

NHS Flag was raised at Cromer Town Council North Lodge Park Cromer. Deputy Mayor Cllr Pat West said a few words of welcome and presented hampers donated by Morrisons Cromer to Cromer Ambulance Station. The hamper was received by With Mike and Emily.

Following this, a joint EEAST CEG/CFR Stall was set up at Morrisons store Cromer to participate in their NHS big tea event.

The stalls were also set up across various other Morrisons locations to participate in their NHS big tea event.
