CLINICAL UPDATE - Direct to CT Pathway Queens 0323

A 24/7 Direct to CT pathway is being piloted at Queens Hospital, Romford.

This will be for patients who have been triaged through the Stroke Video Triage pathway, in the West Essex area, where their nearest HASU is Queens Romford.

The go live date is: Monday 6th March 2023 at 0900. The pilot will be for 12 weeks initially.

This initiative is following the recent success of the Stroke Video Triage / Direct to CT Pathway at Peterborough City Hospital, where door to imaging times have dropped from an average of 22 minutes down to 2 minutes, and door to needle times from an average of 55 minutes, down to the quickest case so far of 15 minutes.
