Clinical update: Transwarmers

The Transwarmer ® Mattress was introduced in EEAST just over a year ago in order to maintain thermoregulation in the newborn.

They have been successful used many times since they were launched however we have had a very small number that have failed to heat up.

The Clinical Update below gives guidance on activation of the mattress and actions if it fails heat up.
