This course is for EEAST line managers to develop the skills and confidence to have meaningful conversations with staff about wellbeing, and the knowledge to reduce the impact of work-related stress

You will learn how to identify signs of stress; be equipped with strategies to support your staff, and gain an understanding of how to utilise tools such as wellbeing plans and personal action plans to create a culture of positive mental health for you and your staff. 

By the end of the course you’ll be able to: 

  • Identify the signs and symptoms of stress at work 
  • Create a wellbeing plan 
  • Develop an open team culture 
  • Utilise strategies for talking to staff about mental health 
  • Explore reasonable adjustments to support your staff 
  • Understand the importance of boundaries 
  • Write a personal action plan.
