CPD Course Available - Leader as a Coach

The Leader as a Coach programme is a 2-day split module that will develop your capacity and flexibility to use coaching skills in everyday leadership conversations.

There will be 12 cohorts offered to leaders across EEAST that will be facilitated virtually by Catalyst 14.

This programme is designed to enhance and develop:

• A deeper understanding of the impact of different leadership styles on conversations, motivation, and performance
• The benefits of using a coaching style which shares evidence-based research thus demonstrating the positive impact of on employee engagement, personal development, and wellbeing.
• The art of Insightful questioning and Generative listening skills
• A range of conversational coaching approaches (directive and non-directive) which can be used in coaching style conversations to maximise outcomes.
• Comfort with the utilisation of a ‘coaching conversation model’ and practice in holding short, impactful everyday conversations.
• Developmental and behavioural feedback skills
• The use of challenge in performance and development conversations
• Psychological safety and trust within relationships with team members
• Strong expectation setting conversations with team members.

These sessions are initially aimed at managers at Band 7 and above. You will need to attend both module dates within your chosen cohort, these sessions run virtually from 9am – 5pm.
