EEAST team wins Tri-Service Golf Competition

On the 16th May 2023, 20 members of Central Norfolk took on 20 members of Norfolk Fire and 20 members of Norfolk Police in a tri-service golf competition with a trophy to be won.

At the end of the competition, the Fire service had totalled 4 points with a tie for first place between the Ambulance and Police, with 5.5 points each. The Ambulance and Police each nominated 1 player to take part in a 100 yard closest to the pin shoot out, with the Ambulance service's Harvey Easter taking the winning shot.

The competition took place at Sprowston Manor Golf Club, with day itself being kindly sponsored by a DMD Group who provided a beverage of choice for every golfer post competition as a thank you for their dedication and services to the community.

After such a successful fun event, with all golfers enjoying themselves, this will be hopefully an annual event with planning for next year already in motion.

We congratulate the team on their win!

If any other localities within EEAST want to take on central Norfolk at a friendly golf match please get in contact.
