As mentioned last week, this year’s theme for Freedom to Speak Up month is breaking down the barriers to speaking up, and we highlighted a few reasons why staff may not feel comfortable to raise their concerns.
The FTSU team will continue to be out and about across the region during the month to meet as many of you as possible, talk to you about FTSU and listen to any concerns you may have.
Throughout October, there is also the opportunity to enter a competition to win a £25 High Street voucher gift card. All you have to do is tell us what you think prevents colleagues from speaking up or raising a concern? Let’s continue breaking down some of those barriers.

All competition entry submissions will be gathered and presented anonymously to the Trust Board. The winning entry will be picked out by the Trust Chair in November.
