Fit for the Future Fortnight

Our Fit for the Future programme began in September 2021 which brings together all the work that we are doing to improve EEAST for our people and communities and to address the long-standing issues identified by our regulators.

When we are managing high levels of demand for our services, it can be hard to focus on these overarching improvement programmes. However, we know that unless we do this work we won’t get the fundamentals right which will help tackle the pressures we are under sustainably.

Over the next couple of weeks we'll be sharing lots of information and the progress that’s been made so far. Some things to look out for include: 

• A quiz on how much you know about Fit for the Future (now closed)
• A podcast from our chair, Nicola Scrivings
• Videos from the Executive Directors who are leading the five workstreams
• Packs of posters for stations
• A bespoke section on East 24 where you can access all the previous blogs and podcasts.
