Get involved with our campaigns in February

We want you

We need your help supporting a number of awareness campaigns this February.

Each month, the communications team – often in collaboration with departments and staff networks across the Trust - highlights a number of awareness campaigns that resonate with our ambulance service and the wider healthcare system, and we’re asking our staff and volunteers to help support where possible.

Some dates to note for February include:

  • 1st-28th: LGBT History Month
  • 2nd: Time to Talk Day – Would you like to share your mental health story or talk about why it’s so important to talk when you need to?
  • 6th: National Apprenticeship Week – Are you currently an apprentice with us or did you start your journey with #TeamEEAST on an apprenticeship? We would love to share your story and inspire others.
  • 7th: Safer Internet Day
  • 14th: Valentine’s Day
  • 17th: Random Acts of Kindness Day – Whether you have been HIT or perhaps been the recipient of a nice gesture by a member of the public, we would love to share these stories on Random Acts of Kindness Day and spread some positivity!
  • 21st: Pancake Day
  • 22nd: Ash Wednesday/Beginning of Lent

We will mainly be supporting these via social media and NeedtoKnow, so please keep an eye out on Facebook and Twitter and help share our posts.

We would love to hear from you on how we could acknowledge and support these campaigns. If you have a story or idea you’d like to share, or you’d like to be involved in any of these campaigns, email communications@eastamb.nhs.uk
