How Operations can support the SPOC team

OPS UPDATE

Due to matters which are out of our control within EEAST, the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) team are operating using business continuity processes. This way of working means that call lengths are longer and as a result this means that getting through to SPOC may take a little longer.

There are a few ways that operational staff can support our SPOC team:

  • Please use your iPAD to complete any Datixs which need to be submitted, only call SPOC if for some reason you are unable to use your iPAD to do this.
  • For all SPOC referrals please undertake a patient lookup on your ePCR which will populate the patients NHS number.  Doing this will support the SPOC team greatly.
  • Before doing a SPOC referral, please ensure you have all the needed patient demographics available.

The SPOC team are working extremely hard to make sure that they can process your calls, in order to support you and our most vulnerable patients. We want to thank the SPOC team for all their hard work and resilience during this difficult time.
