International Volunteer Day

Today is International Volunteer Day, and we want to take the opportunity to say a huge thank you to all our volunteers working across the Trust.

All our volunteers make a big difference to the work we are able to deliver and the care we provide for our patients. This has never been more evident than during the past twenty months.

On a daily basis, we are supported by around 1,500 volunteers, who give up their own time to ensure that across the region our patients are able to receive the best possible care. Whether they are a Community First Responder, or a Volunteer Car Driver, each of our volunteers helps us to deliver a valuable service and it is even more admirable that they have done so in a year with such increased risk.

Thank you for everything you do, day in, day out. We couldn’t do it without you and we look forward to working with you over the next twelve months.
