Introducing ‘Safe Conversations’

Let's Talk graphic

As part of the new ‘Let’s Talk’ campaign that is launching this week, the Trust will be introducing a schedule of ‘Safe Conversations’.

In order to improve our awareness and understanding of the many different cultures around us, we must open the conversation and equip ourselves with the skills and tools to learn. In doing so, as a Trust we will be able to make the changes required to develop our Trust into a safe and inclusive place for everyone.

These ‘Safe Conversations’ are a safe space for colleagues to come and talk about the topic of the month, chosen via the results of the recent equality surveys. Where possible, there will be a subject matter expert on the call to guide and answer any specific questions. There may be personal stories and case studies shared during the session. The floor will then be open to all for a healthy and informative group discussion. Discussions will be aimed at encouraging you to talk openly about your experience where you feel comfortable to do so, and expand on elements that are of interest to you.

So, let’s talk…
