Last few days to get your jab

Boost your immunity this winter

Now the weather has turned colder winter is almost here, but the good news is our flu clinics are still running for a few more days so you still have time to have your jab and get protected.

We know that peak flu season falls between December and March, and that it can take 10-14 days from having the vaccine for it to be at its most effective so the sooner you have it the better protected you will be. You can find the current list of available clinics here, or you can email flu@eastamb.nhs.uk Please note, the clinics will finish in just over a week, on 4
th December.

As a Trust we aim to offer the vaccine to 100% of our employees and volunteers. It is important we evidence this to show we have offered the vaccine as widely as possible and prevent staff being missed. Currently 59% of staff (nearly 3,800) have had the vaccine, but we know that many of you will have had it at your own GP or at a private appointment instead. If this is the case and you haven’t already done so, then please
could you complete the form and let us know if you’ve had your jab elsewhere, as this will confirm you’ve been offered it. If you have decided not to have it this year and you haven’t already done so then please could you also fill in the form above. The aim is to redeploy to areas of need or return vaccines to prevent wastage.
