Following on from March’s launch of our new Monthly Performance Dashboard, the latest Dashboard is now available.

The Dashboard includes the data below, which was selected to show how many calls are received and the different ways that those calls are dealt with, other than receiving an emergency response. This latest version also includes a comparison to last month’s figures.

  • 999 calls received – Total number of 999 calls received in our three control rooms (AOC’s) in Bedford, Chelmsford and Norwich.
  • 999 calls attended – Total number of 999 calls that received a response from a clinician either by phone or face to face.
  • C1 calls – Total number of calls requiring an immediate response to a potentially life-threatening illness or injury.
  • C2 calls – Total number of calls classed as an emergency for a potentially serious condition.
  • Call Handler Hear and Treat – Total number of calls triaged by call handlers as not requiring an ambulance response.
  • ECAT Hear and Treat – Total number of calls managed by Emergency Clinical Advice and Triage (ECAT) clinicians not requiring an ambulance response face to face.

We encourage you to print off and display the dashboard attached below and ask that you include it in your monthly one to one meetings.

Thank you to everyone who has provided us with feedback so far, we are currently working on some additional features that you will see in the coming months, including C3 and C4 calls. If you have any additional feedback please email internalcommunications@eastamb.nhs.uk.
