Launch of our #CareerForLife recruitment campaign

This week, the Trust is launching its new recruitment campaign - #CareerForLife.

There are hundreds of people at EEAST who have been with the Trust for many years, many with careers spanning decades. We want potential recruits to know that a career within the ambulance service can be a career for life. Everyone has a different journey and story to tell.

The campaign focuses on our own staff stories and their career journeys to inspire others to start their own journey at EEAST. These case studies will show some unique career journeys and the diverse range of career options available within EEAST – whether that’s moving from one department to another, progressing in their role, or staying in their role long term if that’s the journey that works best for them.

"In every role I’ve been in at the Trust, I’ve played a part in saving and changing lives in so many ways. I was proud to wear the uniform when I was frontline, and now I’m proud to support our frontline colleagues so they can do their jobs better.”

Mark Stowell is one of the many colleagues at EEAST we will be highlighting with the #CareerForLife campaign. Mark joined the Trust in 2010 as an ambulance fleet assistant, and after progressing in a frontline role to become a senior emergency medical technician (SEMT), Mark now works as a digital service desk analyst engineer in the digital team.

The external Trust website has been updated with a new recruitment section reflecting the campaign and the campaign will be rolled out on our social media channels from this week.

The recruitment team will also be showcasing the campaign with a refreshed stand and materials at the Royal Norfolk Show this week (28th and 29th June).

What’s your story? Do you have a career journey that could inspire others to start their career at EEAST? Complete this short survey to submit your interest in being part of our campaign today – we’d love to hear from you!
