Legacy Paramedic Mentor Opportunity

A secondment opportunity has arisen for a Legacy Paramedic Mentor role working with EEAST and the Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board.

Band 6 role up to £16,235 for 2 days a week until March 2024.

The Legacy Paramedic Mentor role is ideal for a paramedic who is at the later stages of their career or for those looking at retiring and returning on a part-time basis. The mentor role will be supporting newly qualified paramedics, as well as graduates and apprentices on their placements in a variety of settings. It will be important for the mentor to share their experience and knowledge to support individuals starting out in their career with the Trust.

This role requires a passion for your profession and to act as a role model whilst showing empathy, patience, and a desire to help your colleagues succeed in the role of paramedic or health and social care professional.

You will need to be flexible, with work being at home and travelling across the Trust to support all the service delivery areas. The aim of the programme is to support the retention of our newly qualified paramedics and frontline colleagues, with a process of record keeping and evaluating impact to highlight the success of the role.
