Making the most of appraisals

Meaningful Conversations

Following feedback from colleagues we have introduced a shorter version of the form.

Completing a meaningful appraisal is something that is essential for both managers and their teams. It provides an opportunity to talk about your experience at work, what is working well, how you would like to progress and raise any difficulties you may be facing in your role.

Done well, they make people feel valued and listened to and are something that, as an organisation, we feel is really important.

We do understand however, that for those managers with large teams it can be an incredibly lengthy process, which is why we have shortened the form this year to make completion of the paperwork less time-consuming.

The appraisals process will remain open from now until the spring and will be monitored on a weekly basis, with all managers receiving weekly updates on completed appraisals.

Please remember to send all completed forms to LandD@eastamb.nhs.uk to be registered, so that we can ensure the data we have is accurate.

You can also contact LandD@eastamb.nhs.uk if you have any issues or difficulties with any part of the appraisal process.

Thank you for your support with this.
