In continuing the commitment to support all expectant employees at EEAST, the Trust is pleased to introduce the Maternity Support Plan.
This document has been designed in consultation with colleagues who have been in the process, and they helped craft the required support before, during and after a period of maternity leave.
EEAST’s Maternity Leave and Pay Policy will be reviewed and updated later this year, however, in the meantime, the Trust has published an updated Maternity Leave Notification Form, to remind colleagues to speak to their line manager about receiving a Maternity Support Plan. Both the Maternity Support Plan and the Maternity Leave Notification Form can be found under HR Forms on EAST24: HR forms
The Maternity Support Plan idea was generated by the following colleagues: Katelyn Harper, Harriett East, and Georgina Blackman. The Trust would like to take this opportunity to extend appreciation for all their efforts and hard work on implementing this plan.
