Meet our volunteers - Ben

We’re continuing to mark Volunteer’s Week by looking at some of the different volunteering roles on offer here at EEAST, and finding out more about why our volunteers give up their time to support the organisation.

Ben, Community Engagement Group Volunteer.

As a volunteer, I really enjoy working with other volunteers across the region, in partnership with the Trust, to continuously improve the services for our patients, whilst also ensuring staff and volunteer wellbeing is prioritised.

For anyone looking to work or volunteer within the EEAST team, I would very much recommend it. In my case, I know if I need support in my role, I have many people to ask for this.

I am proud to be a part of the EEAST team because every contribution from our volunteers make a huge difference to the work the EEAST does.
