Men's Health Week - day five

mwn mhw logo

The Men’s Health Week continues with another challenge to embrace the journey towards better health.

Men’s health promotion plays a crucial role in setting a positive example for future generations. By embracing healthy habits and engaging in preventative care, men can inspire younger individuals to prioritise their own well-being and start conversations, creating a ripple effect of improved health across communities.

Challenge: Limit screen time, especially during leisure hours. Keep specific periods for device free activities such as reading, engaging in hobbies and spending time outdoors. Practice stress management techniques, such as deep breathing exercises, mediation, yoga or mindfulness – don’t forgot to use Headspace app. Commit to 15-20 mins daily if you can.

Headspace, the mindfulness and meditation app, is available for employees across NHS to download free of charge. Headspace resources are also available for all to access from their YouTube
