New Course available on EVOLVE – ‘Making Data Count’

A new course, has been added to Evolve learning platform called Making Data Count.  

This course, developed by NHS Improvement (NHSI), will introduce you to a new national approach to using data and information to both inform and support improvement projects.

The course will give you an introduction to Statistical Process Control (SPC) Charts and provide you with the tools, knowledge and skills to be able to use these charts to analyse, understand trends in data and be able to narrate and describe the information to others. We are keen to grow the number of staff who regularly use and could benefit from this approach.

The course consists of six 1 hour modules/steps which you will be able to access through Evolve: 

1 – An Introduction

2-  Using our SPC Tools

3 – Narrative Writing

4- Tips to convert others

5- Comparisons & Benchmarking

6 – Improvement Methods – Techniques to tackle the orange dots

You will also find tools that can be used to create SPC charts and also links to future live training sessions.

The training is aimed at all staff. So, let's make data count!
