To reduce harm to patients from long-lie falls (an extended time on the floor) the Trust has produced a video giving further advice for patients once they have been on the floor for 2 hours.
The advice includes nutrition, fluids, medications, and movement. The video can be sent by text message by a clinician from EOC from 2 hours after the recorded time on floor, this is so that the advice does not contradict MPDS advice which is valid for 2 hours. It was launched on the 02 October 2023.
