Launch of new OLM learning platform

The Trust is changing the system we use for online learning to the Oracle Learning Management (OLM) system within ESR.

Following the successful launch of paperless payslips earlier this year, the Trust is now further utilising the electronic staff record (ESR) system. We will be moving away from using Evolve, our current learning platform, to the OLM system that can be accessed within ESR.

This move will allow staff to access their staff record, payslips and eLearning in the same place, increasing accessibility, accuracy and helping to encourage staff development at a time when staff are under increasing pressure.

The launch will take place using a phased approach, rolling out to each directorate on a monthly basis. The first will be the strategy, culture and education directorate.

The rollout will then take place in the following order:

• July – Strategy, Culture and Education
• August – People Services
• September – Corporate Services (inc. finance, IT, estates, clinical quality, corporate governance, medical and exec)
• October – Integration and PTS
• November – Ops and EOC
• December – Volunteers / any others

We are sure there may be questions around the migration and use of the new system, so we have put together some frequently asked questions (FAQs) that may be helpful.

Further information will be published as the rollout begins, including updates for each directorate and opportunities for drop in sessions for staff to attend in the lead up to their move.
