Nominations open for NHS Parliamentary Awards

Nominations are now open for the NHS Parliamentary Awards, which celebrate the outstanding work of NHS people who go above and beyond to care and support patients and their families.

Nominations are submitted by MPs and help raise awareness of the extraordinary work that you do.

There are several categories that colleagues across EEAST will be eligible for and we are asking managers to consider if there is anybody in your team to put forward for the award 

These include:

• The Excellence in Urgent and Emergency Care Award
• The Health Equalities Award
• NHS Rising Star
• The Lifetime Achievement Award

Forms to nominate people are available here and ask for the name of the person, their team and the local MP. The form also asks for short entry of why this person is being nominated.

Once completed please send back to the Public Affairs Team and we would be happy to send it on to the MP listed. We need all forms back before the 14th April as the deadline for MPs to submit nominations is midnight on April 24th.
