Following our previous article about Introducing the Learn from Patient Safety Events (LFPSE) service on DATIX. It is now confirmed that the Datix and CQS team will be working together to upgrade the system and enable LFPSE service on 28th September 2023 from 9.30 am to 4pm.
During this time, our Datix system will be in maintenance mode meaning users will not be able to use the system. This allows the Datix and CQS team to upgrade and configure the system around LFPSE. Placing the Datix system on maintenance mode is rare and only used for updates, this is a product limitation of the Datix solution.
We are aware that this downtime will cause disruptions to your daily routines across the Trust. We will try out best to bring the system back to live as soon as we can.
May we take this opportunity to request you to be prepared to work offline like if there is anything you needed to make a note of /copy//download from Datix for the day, please do so before 9.30 am on the 28th September 2023.
Please note that staff will still be able to report incidents via the SPOC team, who have kindly agreed to log on paper, during the downtime.
