NPAG is expanding and on course to beat financial targets

The National Performance Advisory Group (NPAG) is a commercial division of EEAST, based at the Chelmsford EOC site.  It brings people together to share best practice on a national level, with members from many national trusts.

NPAG is on course to exceed financial targets for the year having already secured sponsorship for two of its four flagship national conferences. The Theatres and Decontamination Conference, taking place in May, and the Clinical Engineering Conference in September have collectively attracted corporate sponsorship from nearly 40 brands to date.

This is good news for colleagues and patients across the East of England as all NPAG profits are reinvested directly into front line ambulance services.

NPAG (npag.org.uk) has a long-standing record of delivering annual profits for the Trust. The service is fully self-funding through membership fees and event sponsorship. It supports and promotes sharing of best practice, information and networking amongst peers via a series of conferences, best value groups and workshops. Clients and members come from across the UK and from a wide range of NHS Trusts, including acute, community, mental health and ambulance trusts.

In the last twelve months NPAG has managed and executed 3 national conferences, 69 best practice events and 31 workshops which will increase in the coming year with the creation of more best practice groups. The NPAG team has recently expanded to support this exciting growth period. Lynn Maddison joined in March and will support the team with the management and execution of events. With a background public relations, Lynn will also help the team to promote NPAG membership to help bring in new opportunities.

Anyone from the Trust interested in NPAG membership can visit npag.org.uk or email info@npag.eastamb.nhs.uk.
