PARAMEDIC-3 trial update and webinar

Paramedics are continuing to be recruited to take part in the PARAMEDIC-3 trial, which aims to find out if IO access first strategy compared with an IV access first strategy is clinically and cost effective.

We are pleased to announce that James Paget and West Suffolk hospitals are the latest to join EEAST for the PARAMEDIC-3 trial! 

Paramedics working around West Suffolk and Waveney areas who would like to be involved in the trial can do so by contacting shona.brown@eastamb.nhs.uk.

The next hospitals soon to be collaborating with us are Norfolk and Norwich, Addenbrookes, and Princess Alexandra. Look out for updates on when these areas are due to go live.

 

Webinar

The University of Warwick CTU who are sponsoring the PARAMEDIC-3 trial are holding a free Cardiac arrest webinar open to all EEAST clinicians.

The webinar will take place on Monday 3^rd April from 7pm until 8.15pm, and will include the following talks;

• PARAMEDIC-3 trial update
• Human Factors in OHCA
• Cardiac arrest in children
