Paramedic Alumni Focus Group and Survey from UEA

The university of East Anglia is reaching out to paramedics who have trained within the East of England to complete a short survey and participate in a focus group, as an important part of a project looking into non-ambulance placements for paramedic students in the East.

According to the HCPC and College of Paramedics - practice-based learning must be integral to the programme (HCPC) and programmes must provide a range of suitable high-quality practice-based education placements (College of Paramedics).  The trouble is nobody knows exactly what this looks because, in reality, it will vary by programme.

Health Education England has commissioned The University of East Anglia to conduct a ‘deep-dive’ into non-ambulance placements for Paramedic Students in the East Region.  An important part of this project is reaching out to paramedic alumni who have trained within the East of England to complete a short survey and participate in a focus group. The views of those who have been through the education system in recent years (and perhaps those who’ve been around a bit longer) are crucial to hear as part of this project.

All of the links in this email are for the survey – I’d be very grateful if you would click on one of them. The survey takes about 5 minutes.

Non-Ambulance Placements - Reflections and Insights of Paramedics and Paramedic Students

We are facilitating two focus groups and it would be great if you are able to spare some time to contribute to either meeting.  If you would like to join one of the focus groups in March or April please complete the Expression of Interest form below and we will send an invitation and online meeting link.
