Remembering Nick Lee

Nick Lee

Nick Lee – 1974 - 2021

Nick Lee, a much-respected colleague who had worked for EEAST in west Norfolk for 18 years, died suddenly on Friday 3rd December.

Nick was an Army veteran and served with the Royal Anglian Regiment from 1993 to 1998. He joined EEAST in 2003 and became qualified as a technician, a role in which he excelled in for 13 years.

In 2016, Nick started his paramedic training and not long after qualifying showed an interest in management. He was most recently seconded into a Leading Operations Manager (LOM) role at Kings Lynn and was also a Hospital Ambulance Liaison Officer (HALO) at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn.

During his career, Nick was based at Downham Market, Swaffham and King’s Lynn.

Nick fulfilled every role at EEAST with distinction and was well respected by colleagues and every healthcare professional he came into contact with.

He leaves Michelle, his wife of 22 years, and children Tom and Megan. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and colleagues.

Funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.
