Remote Access Changes - Switching off Direct Access

Over the past few months, the Digital team have been working with staff to change the way they connect to the Trust whilst working from home or from a non Trust site.

Our records show that all active users (mainly with Laptops) have now been migrated from the legacy Direct Access solution to the new AoVPN solution. As a result of this work, on 28th July the legacy Direct Access solution for remote connectivity to Trust Digital resources will be switched off.

If you work remotely (not on a Trust site) please check that you are using AoVPN by clicking on your Wireless symbol in the bottom right corner of your desktop and ensure you can see AoVPN as in either example below:

  

If you cannot see AoVPN listed, please contact the Digital Team via the ITServiceDesk, as this may prevent you from working remotely after the 28th July.
