Sad passing of Adrian Gillespie - Updated

It is with great sadness that the Trust would like to inform you of the sudden passing of Adrian Gillespie.

Adrian was a key member of the Trusts RAF Co-responder team based at RAF Henlow and devoted hundreds of voluntary hours to support EEAST, alongside his full time role as a Wing Commander within the Royal Air Force.

Adrian was passionate about his role that he undertook here at EEAST and was looking to pursue a full time career with EEAST post leaving the RAF.

Adrian will be greatly missed and our thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time.

• The Funeral Service of Wg Cdr Adrian Gillespie will take place on Thursday 9^th March 2023 at 13:30hrs, please arrive by 13:00hrs. This Service will be held at St Andrews Church, RAF Henlow, Bedfordshire, SG16 6DN. A Wake will then be held at The Officers Mess.
• Request from Donna Gillespie, that all EEAST personnel to wear their ambulance uniform for the service.

 A book of condolence has been started and is currently on the table in the crew room at Biggs and this will be brought over to Kempston for anyone that wishes to write in it.
