Sad passing of Charles Joseph

Trust crest colour

With great sadness the Trust announces the passing of Charles Joseph, who was an urgent ambulance care assistant based in Mid and South Essex.

Charles started with EEAST in Patient Transport Services in Mid Essex, and then moved on to be an Urgent Ambulance Care Assistant, of which yesterday would have been his sixth year.

Locally he was also known for his adept skills in photography, to which you may have seen his 'Kingfisher' portraits around the stations.

A book of condolences is in the welfare room at Basildon Ambulance Station. Do please feel free to leave any fond memories or thoughts. If you are unable to attend in person, please send any messages of condolence to Mike Bates who will ensure they are written in the book.

We will update this article with the funeral arrangements once we have these confirmed from the family.
