Safeguarding pathway changes launching 4th July

We have completed a review of the current pathway and listened to your views and suggestions and as a result are now ready to launch the new and improved SPOC pathways for safeguarding!

Look out for the changes being introduced to the SPOC pathways…

What will you notice?

• Consent will be a focus, so please ensure before you call, you have the conversation with the patient/parent.
• Streamlined question sets that will shorten the time to make a referral.
• Less questions, more time to express what your concerns are from the outset.
• One GP referral pathway, to accommodate mental health, medical or medication issues.
• Pathways that are compliant with the current legislation.
• A sense of achievement that we, as a Trust, continue to work to enhance the patient journey.
