Secondment opportunity: Senior VCSE Partnering Lead

NHS Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care Board (ICB) are pleased to be able to offer an exciting secondment role for enthusiastic and experienced individual, willing to support progression of the VCSE partnering agenda within N&W ICS.

A key priority in the NHS Long Term Plan is to join-up health and care services and the VCSE sector are acknowledged as an essential partner in delivering the ambitions described in the Plan. In particular being able to help to priorities prevention as we support people to improve their health and wellbeing and tackle inequalities.

In 2021, the N&W VCSE Assembly was formally established, and the overarching functions of the Assembly are :

  • To provide a VCSE engagement forum across N&W, with a focus on health inequalities and prevention, with connection at neighbourhood, place and system levels.
  • To provide a mechanism to support collaborative design of services and the capability to respond to emerging needs.
  • To increase influence and participation of VCSE organisations and groups in the design and delivery of health and care services within the ICS.

A key of this job role is to support these functions, through development of  a comprehensive programme of work that also enables the overall NHS guidance ambitions for ICSs to be achieved.
