Shortage of minijets

Yellow kit bag

Please be aware that there is a national shortage of Atropine minijets 1mg/10ml.

The shortage is down to a manufacturing issue and it’s unlikely that any will be sourced in the next few months.

An alternative preparation has been procured which is Ampoules of ATROPINE 600 micrograms in 1ml.

Please administer according to JRCALC guidelines. For full details, please refer to the JRCALC Clinical Practice Guidelines 2013, page 288.

Pre-filled syringes (Minijets) should be used if available.
