SORT Training opportunities in 2023

This is an invitation to join EEAST SORT (Specialist Operations Response Team).

The 2023 training dates have been set and we need your support to fulfil our goal of having 290 fully trained SORT staff.

We are now able to train staff in a wider range of clinical roles, including:

• Emergency Care Support Workers (ECSW)
• Emergency Care Assistants (ECA)
• Intermediate Ambulance Practitioner (IAP)
• Apprentice EMTs
• Student and qualified EMTs and APPs
• Student Ambulance Nurses
• Ambulance Nurses
• Paramedics

As a member of SORT, you will continue working in your current role, as well as having the opportunity to complete 7 days of training per year in CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear) and MTA (Marauding Terrorist Attack).
