Call Handler Sean Carroll and Dispatcher Nick Bennett will be taking to the Brentwood Golf Club in the name of charity.

On Monday 12th June, they will begin an epic round of golf, which will involve 72 holes. This is equal to four normal rounds back to back. Sean says, “An average round for me and Nick would take around three and a half hours, so we anticipate playing golf for around 14 hours in total”.

The event is being organised by Macmillan Cancer Support, and both Sean and Nick decided to take part as it seemed like a great event to be a part of. “I thought because we both like golf and often play together, this would be an idea charity event for us”, says Sean, “however, I didn’t quite realise how hard this is actually going to be until I looked in to the stats”. The guys have predicted that they could be walking up to 30 miles on the day, carrying all their own equipment whilst doing so.

Sean and Nick have been getting themselves prepared by playing lots of golf, but will be having a rest in the days leading up to the event so their bodies are in the best possible shape for the challenge.

If you would like to sponsor Sean and Nick you can do so here.

Best of luck and enjoy the day!
