Take 5 - Joint Emergency Services Interoperability Principles (JESIP)

Take 5 to prepare

The latest edition of Take 5 is now available. In this issue we look at The Joint Emergency Services Interoperability Principles (JESIP).

The Joint Emergency Services Interoperability Principles (JESIP) ensure that all staff from Police, Ambulance and Fire use the same communication methods and terminology at an incident.

The JESIP concept is in place for all levels of staff and includes how information should be shared by the first crew on scene as well as how the commanders make key decisions.

New JESIP posters will be shared with stations over the coming weeks but this Take 5 just acts as a reminder for all staff.

As we move forward over the coming months we will be working with the Trust fleet department to ensure there is a METHANE sticker in all front line vehicles.
