The Trac Recruitment system (owner by Civica) has had intermitted access issues and will now be down for maintenance until 0900 Thursday 22nd June.

We recognise the impact this has on both staff applying for vacancies, managing ongoing recruitment activities and for managers working on new recruitment.

Civica’s Manging Director, Kirsty Fowler, provided us with the following update:

What happened?

Trac was taken down for planned maintenance on the evening of Friday, 16th June 2023 to Sunday, 18th June 2023. Since then, we’ve become aware of performance issues, preventing some users from accessing, submitting and managing applications.

What is Civica doing?

We recognise that these issues are unacceptable and have therefore planned additional maintenance which will involve the solution of  being offline from 19.00 Tuesday, 20th June 2023 until Thursday morning.

What does this mean?

While the system is offline, your applicants will unfortunately be unable to proceed with applications, and you will be unable to manage recruitment processes in the system.

I understand how critical Civica Trac is to your organisation. Rest assured we have a team of experts working around the clock to restore the service and we regret this unexpected downtime. 

Please accept my apologies for the disruption.

 

To compensate for some of the impact of this disruption, the Recruitment team will be extending or reopening any vacancies which were open, or due to close between 19th June and 23rd June to provide additional access time for applicants to complete their applications.

Recruitment will not be able to answer or action any queries on the system until access is regained tomorrow. We will aim to resolve and respond to any queries once we have access again, and we appreciate your patience while we do so.
