Training available for National Mobilisation Application (NMA)

NMA UAT Vehicle

We recently announced the programme to replace the current MDTs with the new NMA (National Mobilisation Application) units, designed to improve road safety by minimising driver distractions through the use of text-to-speech and speech recognition. We are pleased to announce that the training package is now available.

All front-line staff must complete the NMA training before being able to use the new terminals in the upgraded vehicles.

The e-learning training is now available on the new OLM training platformYou can access the training by logging on to your ESR account. Follow this link to ESR login: http://my.esr.nhs.uk

To guide you through the process, a video tutorial (see below) has been prepared to demonstrate how to log into OLM and access the course. Currently you will need to search for the training course.

The course code is NMA. Enter this keyword in the search field and then click “Go.

Click on the enrol icon to access the course.

The NMA training course can then be selected for you to enrol on, which typically takes around 15 minutes to complete. The training concludes with a brief competence quiz.
