Trust Managers needed for new research study

Ambulance PE report

EEAST Research Support Services has recently undertaken a service evaluation (the MIDWESt study) which found there is scope for improved menopause support and wellbeing for ambulance service personnel.

Based on the MIDWESt findings, a new national menopause study, CESSATION, has been developed which aims to explore female ambulance staff and managerial experiences of the menopause transition.

The CESSATION study team would now like to invite EEAST managers, and staff with line-management responsibilities, to share their menopause knowledge and concerns when managing female staff during the menopause transition.

As study participants, you will be asked to complete a short (18-question), anonymous and confidential survey (CESSATION-EEAST), which should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete.

Both male and female Trust management staff are eligible to take part in the survey.

The CESSATION study has received Health Research Authority approval. It is funded by the College of Paramedics and has received support from University of East Anglia Health and Social Care Partners.

The closing date for this survey is the 5th January 2022
