Update: Collective Pay Grievances

We are pleased to inform you that we are now able to commence payments and increment changes relating to the Student Paramedic delays. This is in relation to the following:

  • Cohorts SP15+ delayed progression to band 6 following completion of Consolidation of Learning
  • Cohorts SP56+ (employed on 36 month training contract) who have experienced delays in progressing through the band 5 pay points in comparison to the previous SAP cohorts

This will be actioned in stages, over March, April and May pay. If applicable to you, you will receive backdated pay in the coming months (you may receive pay across multiple months). 

Unfortunately we are unable to give an estimate of any monies owed. However, if payment is made to you in respect of these grievances, you will receive a subsequent letter to explain the backpay or changes that you receive.

 

Further Panel to be held for EMT-Paramedic delays

We recently updated you regarding the final panel date to be held for review of the EMT-Paramedic delay submissions. Subsequently, a further panel has been arranged due to the high number of new submissions received.

If you are awaiting an outcome and decision, you will receive this by 31 March.
