Updated Airflo 24 pre-shift check and make ready procedure

Airflo

To ensure the that the Mangar Airflo 24 is operating correctly, please can all Crew and Make Ready operatives perform the following test prior to shift or during the make ready process.

Please remove the Airflo 24 from the vehicles charging bracket and press the power on button.

The Airflo 24 will perform a self-test and the pump will briefly activate. If the Airflo 24 has passed its self-test the bottom LED will illuminate green. However, if the bottom LED illuminates red, it has failed its self-test and should be removed from service and plugged into a mains charger for the next 12 hours and then retested.

PLEASE NOTE:
• The power on button will not function if the Airflo 24 is still on the vehicle bracket.
• The Airflo 24 may still show a full battery when the battery button is pressed. This does not mean it will pass its self-test.
• The Airflo 24 will automatically turn off when placed back onto the vehicle bracket.

Retesting
If the Airflo 24 fails its self-test after receiving a full 12 hour charge, please fully complete a red faulty tag, isolate the device and report to Clinical Engineering for repair.
